The blog is going to take a hiatus while I get ready for the bar. I will give John the ability to post things if he wants to. Til then....It's study time!
I ran the mile for time again and thought I was running really fast but ended up running it close to what I did it in last time. My time was 6:40 for the mile. I also ran 2 400 meter sprints to see what they are like and they are brutal....I ran those in 1:15 both times. I think I had like 3 or 4 minutes of rest inbetween the mile and both of my sprints. 400 meter sprints are for real.
Those are hardcore times. I talked to Mr. Maffers and Kim Sr. at Doug's wedding and both were excited about competing. Maffers said he can do 20 pullups right now. Kim thinks he can maybe take 1st or 2nd in the mile if he gets busy.
6:40??? Holy crud! It's a good thing that lacrosse season's here...knowing that I have a game each weekend in the spring is a great motivator to get me running during the week. Looks like I've got some work to do in the mile!
