John and I tested ourselves in Squat, Bench, 1600m and pullups to see where we stood at the start of this journey. My numbers are posted below. I also posted John's numbers but they are based on only my memory.
Bench: Lee 185, John 185
Squat: Lee 245, John 275
Pullups: Lee 3, John 8
1600M: Lee ?, John 6:46
100M: Untested
As you can see I'm starting behind. Lots of work to do if I want to be respectable.
Anyone who wants to post your starting metrics feel free. I plan to test the 1600M sometime this week.

I did a Tabata workout today with one session of DB swings with a 30# DB and one session of Air Squats. A Tabata interval is 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off for 4 minutes straight.
ReplyDeleteI ran 2 miles on the tread mill yesterday. I started off at an 8 mph pace but that proved to be too fast and finished the rest of the run at a 7 mph pace. Whit! I am impressed with those 400 m times...pretty fast. You are gonna be hard to beat

I'll be pushing 40 in September, so please have an oxygen tank and a puke bucket ready for me, OK?
Today, I did 100 Burpees in 8 minutes and 49 seconds, passed out for half an hour, and then I did 10 pullups. Have a great day, guys!
