Tabata Tuesday

The Tabata workout is hardcore. I am posting a link to it here and on the sidebar. Give it a try.

  2. today I did :
    3 sets of 20 pushups
    3 sets of 30 situps
    3 sets of 5 pullups
    3 sets of 30 standing jumps ( where you put your arms out chest high and jump so your knees hit your hands...very tough...perhaps the toughest part of the workout )
    * 2 minutes of rest inbetween each set *
    This workout kicked my butt. Its amazing how hard simple pushups are when you haven't been lifting or doing anything like that at all. This is going to be my tuesday, thursday, saturday workout and I will be doing some sort of running workout on the other days....either a 2 mile run or a mile for time and some sprints.
