The truth about getting in shape

  1. I was feeling really blah today, so I asked one of my assistants to run class for me. Apparently, she was in quite a mood. Here's the workout we did:

    3 minutes jumprope
    30 seconds pushups
    30 seconds burpees
    2 minutes jumprope
    30 seconds pushups, one hand on a medicine ball
    30 seconds woodchoppers with medicine ball
    1 minute jumping jacks
    30 seconds pushups, other hand on med ball
    30 sec 'Horse Stance' holding med ball
    45 sec 'Horse Stance' holding ball overhead
    30 sec medicine ball crunches
    30 sec med ball toe touches
    1 minute partner situps, passing med ball back and forth
    Stretching
    There were 15 second breaks between exercises, except for the 'Horse Stance', where we just shifted the medicine ball to an overhead press position.

    Later, we did some grappling, and I did around a half-hour of 3 min or 5 min rounds.

    I'm no longer feeling blah. ;-)
