What is Fitness?

As we start off on a program to "get in shape", it is useful to ask "for what?" I think deep down our generation has grown up on Arnold Schwarzenegger and his offspring and most of us just want to look sweet. Gregg Glassman and the Crossfit movement have turned these conventional notions of fitness on their head and have developed an entire philosophy and supporting program around total, functional fitness. If you think one day of "weights" and one day of "cardio" is still best, check out this article entitled "What is Fitness?" Give CrossFit a try and I guarantee it will change the way you look at getting into shape. Hopefully, a resounding victory at the Prince Olumpics will back me up.

  3. lol. It's not for you. It's for everyone. I think we all know that any workout is likely to get results. This is just a different way to think. "Or he can stay on top."
